Time Trafficker Watches For Women

Time Trafficker  Watches For Men

Wristwatches have a long and fascinating history which is part of what makes them interesting to collect. The struggle to produce accurate and practical timekeeping devices is centuries old with the first mechanical clocks originating in the 13th century. Spring driven clocks appeared in the 1500s and the art of clockmaking flourished in the 15th and 16th centuries. The history of the wristwatch begins in the late 1800s when timekeeping devices first became small enough to be practically worn on the wrist, around the neck or carried in a pocket. From a technological perspective, the period from the1950s through the 1970s saw the introduction of a succession of new watch technologies each improving upon the next and culminating in quartz technology which remains unchallenged and almost unchanged to this day. For a short time in the late 1960s and early 1970s, many different watch technologies competed alongside each other which makes watches from this period in history particularly fascinating.
